The course covers key areas such as types of fabrics and their properties, tools and equipment used in sewing, and various construction techniques including seams, stitches, and edge finishes. Learners are introduced to methods of controlling fullness, fitting garments, and ensuring proper shaping and structure.
In addition, the course emphasizes the importance of accuracy, neatness, and durability in garment production. It also explores factors affecting garment quality, such as stitch tension, fabric handling, and finishing processes.
